The camp is designed to inspire and create globally minded, ethical leaders that respect and uphold the equal value of all humanity. This training transforms teens into capable leaders, motivated to affect positive social change in an increasingly diverse Soweto. Personal concept is defined and during this week long life orientation experience. Running for the second year in 2018, 50 teens actively participated in 2018.
The camp provided opportunities for both high school and preteen-age learners to learn from best selected young professionals as facilitators and speakers. These are young and well placed trainers, and caring mentors, all while making lifelong friends in an incredible outdoor setting, and experiencing what many Pecop-alumni have called the best 5 days of their life!
Through inspiring keynote sessions, interactive workshops, real-time leadership simulations, and a whole lot of outdoor fun, the camp helps students skyrocket their leadership skills. We dive deep into conflict resolution, stress management, working with teams, building confidence, leveraging strengths, clarifying life direction, and much, much more. In other words, 7 unforgettable days that will transform the way our learners lead and live.
